We are very pleased to announce that our organic extra virgin olive oil Progresso , a monocultivar from Pisciottana, has received the Golden Glass at the sixth edition of the MIOOA – Milan International Olive Oil Award 2025 , organized by Olio Officina.
This is an important recognition that enhances the daily work we carry out in the heart of Cilento, among monumental olive trees that have told a unique agricultural story for centuries. Our Pisciottana plants , some of which date back 300-400 years, are an integral part of a cultural and natural landscape that continues to bear extraordinary fruit.
Progresso was born from these very roots: an oil that combines respect for the native variety with the search for absolute quality, in every phase of production.
Already during the 19th century, Enrico Iannicelli – exported this oil to South America , testifying to the value and reputation that Pisciottana already had beyond national borders. The current bottles that bear the name Progresso ed Avanzamento are inspired by the design of the historic cans used for exports: a tribute to family memory and a vision that spans generations.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the director of MIOOA, Luigi Caricato , and to the tasting panel , for the careful and rigorous work carried out during the competition. This award is an additional incentive to continue to improve and to make our identity known through oil.
